Como is one of my favorite towns in Italy. It is small, beautiful and set by the prettiest little lake. We weren’t originally planning on stopping here, but we added it to our itinerary at the last second while we were in Switzerland. We had planned to take an overnight train from Lucerne to Venice, but that sounded way less appealing the day of than it did months before while we were planning, so weird like why wouldn’t sleeping on a train be fun? Idk lol. SO glad we didn’t and stopped in Como instead because it’s the cutest.
After Como, we went to VENICE. I think Venice is the most photogenic city I’ve ever seen. It is SERIOUSLY AMAZING. Every little corner and alley way is so picturesque! We kind of just wandered around the city all day long. It can get pretty touristy because cruise ships come and all the passengers descend on the city, so the main roads get suuuuper crowded. We would just duck into a side street and keep walking till we were lost and by ourselves again. It is a really romantic city and I enjoyed spending time there just me and Tay, stopping at little bakeries to get a pastry or at cafes. We eat allll day long, because food is half the experience! Nutella crepes will aways remind me of Europe. So will pastries bread pretzels hot chocolate etc because clearly I have no self control lol.
ISN’T IT STUNNING??? I love this place so much!! Will definitely be back here!!
